Dear students and parents,
Here we are again, time for another year at Actors Playground School of Theatre. After a tremendously successful summer which included our most diverse curriculum ever, we are gearing up for our most ambitious year long conservatory program to date. From workshops and seminars to showcases and performances to classes and camps, we feel that you will find our new young actors training program second to none.
Classes begin the week of September 10th. Please look at the enclosed schedule and check off which class or classes you would like to enroll in. Please be aware that weekly tuition has gone up by $5. Tuition is $30 for one weekly class and is $45 for two classes a week. A third weekly class is free. Students taking advantage of the third class are part of our conservatory program that began with such a bang in 2006. Unlimited private sessions to enrolled students are always free. Since there are only three weeks of class in September, tuition is $90 to begin the fall semester for students taking one weekly class. FOR STUDENTS TAKING TWO CLASSES-- tuition is $135 to begin the semester. Please remember that tuition is paid monthly and is due the first class of each month. To get the most out of the program please try to make up missed classes, however, you will not be charged for extended absences or special circumstances. Please let us know what class you would like ASAP, to ensure you get the class times you desire. Call 732-935-1800 if you have any questions at all. To reserve your place please call, email, or send a check for the first month of class made out to Actors Playground School of Theatre to: 1 Main Street, Suite 217 Eatontown NJ 07724. To get all the details on each class, our curriculum, and our philosophy please visit our new website at www.actorsplay.com
With the addition of one of the very best teachers I have ever known, Neal Bennett and his very unique Industry Film School, plus renowned American playwright William Mastrosimone giving us the rights to visit schools and theatres around the tri-state area and perform the best play ever written about school violence, Bang, Bang You're Dead, not to mention the agent/manager showcase in December, this should make for one heck of a semester. Carpe Diem.
Hope to see you all in class. Excelsior!
